"Sound like a prick"? It's worrying enough that something as simple as this is taking so much time to remedy, when this should in fact be a five minute fix. You're (plural) attempting to raise awareness of the F/OSS offerings out there and the benefits of such, countering the arguments of the masses who cry "it's too complicated" and you (plural again) cannot even fix your own portal!
