# lilo Alternatively, if you still have the Mandrake CD's, you can use the first one to boot in "rescue mode". It will try to find and mount your existing partitions under /mnt. When you get there, try the following: # chroot /mnt # lilo The above commands assume you're using the LILO boot manager (which is the default). Make sure you have a Windows boot diskette just in case it doesn't work.
