With ffmpeg2theora I get:
ffmpeg2theora -v4l /dev/video0 -x 640 -y 480 -F 30 -o tomte.ogg
File `/dev/video0' does not exist or has an unknown data format.
Before the error message, the webcam is lit quite a while.
I have installed the firmware mentioned in uvideo, I know
I have a Lifecam but alas I don't remember which model.
