X301 2776 NRFLEMD, 128 GB SSD, bios 3.01-1.04 running amd64 4.6-current mp: - iwn works with the 5.1p0.tgz firmware, newer versions from <http://damien.bergamini.free.fr/packages/openbsd/> does not work, I see drop outs on some APs - ifconfig iwn0 down;ifconfig iwn0 up seems to be a workaround - em untested - usb is working - trackpad and keyboard nibble (is there an official name for those?) works - webcam is detected, but untested - microphone untested - soundcard is detected, but untested - gsm modem is detected, but untested - fingerprint reader is detected, but untested - cpu frequency scaling via apm is working - I can't get sleep and suspend/resume to work - fan is running often, but is reasonable quiet - display brightness adjustment works, but I can't get the display blanker to turn off the backlight - X works without any special tweaking - only 3 GB memory of the installed 4 is detected (known issue, afaik - we're waiting for bigmem) - had to disable ahci (switch to compatible mode in bios) to get the dvd drive working due to atascsi_atapi_cmd_done; timeout errors. See dmesg for both setups below. Anyone got an idea for this one, btw? (After the install you can switch ahci back on leaving the dvd drive dead, just remember to correct your mountpoints, wd0 -> sd0, in /etc/fstab) - on the todo for the near future: look into ssd wear leveling and decide if one should get rid of swap and move /var and /tmp into memory. Anyone care to comment on this?
