On the contrary, I find OpenBSD remarkably user-friendly. Almost everything I want is already in base, most things are set up with intelligent and safe defaults, I can't even remember the last time I had to even *have* an xorg.conf, let alone delve into mode line hell, I could go on. The thing of significance in all this is, consider the userbase; Technically, the stated userbase of OpenBSD is: The OpenBSD developers. I strongly suspect they find it immensely user-friendly. Luckily for me, I value similar traits in my OS's interface and mindset, and as long as we share those values, I will continue to thankfully ride on their coat-tails.
