Interesting. I read somewhere that it is one of the things Intel is
limiting customers to, via chipsets and whatnots. I wonder if these
guys are using a 3rd party chipset.
There is a review of five Atom boards here
http://www.mini-itx.com/reviews/atoms/
also check the list od Intel Atom CPU's
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_Atom_microprocessors
As usual, OEM boards perform better than original Intel boards,
MSI seems to be the first to introduce passive cooling.
Worth of note is, from the logicsupply.com page
" Please choose Mainboard Test
<http://www.logicsupply.com/faq?faq1=9&faq2=147> to ensure that the
board is free from
manufacturers defects, errors, etc.
If Mainboard Test is selected, please allow 1-2 full business days
for completion before shipment date."
;-)
Not speaking of OS glitches (even in Win).
In any case, I would chose an OpenBSD friendly manufacturer.
http://www.pcengines.ch/alix.htm has already been mentioned.
