There are..uh..issues... with multiple video cards with the recently updated version of X. Problem is apparently "upstream" in X itself, it is being worked on at all levels. I can assure you, I feel your pain. My three-headed system (fluffy) is down to one. I find this very..confining. However, this has prompted me to discover the app "Synergy" in packages (google, first hit, as I write this). It allows you to have one mouse and keyboard work across multiple computers...of different platforms, even different OSs. It has some security concerns (though it does tunnel nicely through ssh), and requires a computer per head, but it may be something to consider. Nick.
