I don't know why the quoting that way. And my mail program (hotmail/IE7) can't set line lengths. Up to me to just eyeball it and hit return every so often, and then, often returns get removed somewhere anyway, like when I put them in for other formatting reasons. It does stink. (I even pay for the premium service to remove the annoying signature ads..)
