I'm using a BT878 based tuner, the video works fine with fxtv. It can
pass through the audio to a separate sound card, but I don't have a
supported audio chip on the system with the BT878 card. Not a big
problem as all I used it for was to verify signal was coming down the
cable when I installed cable to a couple more rooms in the house.
I've had really great experiences with BT8x8 cards. Well priced, too
