don't know, might be worth a try... as is the usual way with pc vendors, they don't bother to include a changelog, though even if they did they would probably not bother to list half of the changes :( there are some (multiport?) NICs missing from that dmesg that were present before, did you unplug them or are they not being detected? (if you didn't unplug them, I wonder if it's worth trying that...)
