I have been using the openldap (openldap-server-2.3.33p1-bdb) from ports and it works great when I use slurpd for replication.
I would like to use syncrepl instead of slurpd, just to see what the benefits are. However I don't know how to enable the dynamic backend modules since they are not installed in /usr/local/libexec/openldap. I tried to modify the Makefile with --enable-overlays and --enable-modules but those attempts went down in flames. Is it possible to use syncrepl with openldap-server-2.3.33p1 on OpenBSD 4.1? What are the steps? Please let me know if you are able to help.
