I have some boxen in colo, and while I can go there to upgrade it's not nearly as convenient as sitting at my desk. So I chose to upgrade over ssh, knowing that if something goes horribly wrong I *can* drive down and fix it on-site.
I just wanted to say that the process as documented in the FAQ (hi, Nick!) is clear, concise, and has worked flawlessly every time I have done it. Thanks for the efforts at documenting a process that is "not recommended" but is still useful to many and necessary to some! This is also a tribute to the developers in producing releases that hardly ever have ANY regression problems.
