At the time it made good sense but also wouldn't have mattered because I don't believe there was ever a vulnerability found for it YET! YET being the reason in makes good sense. I could be wrong on this though, maybe there was a vulnerability that I'm not aware of. This site, though, helped me get started in OpenBSD, for which I'm thankful to the author.
