Thanks for the suggestion. I had not thought of trying google for the answer to this question. I just now googled for "kio /etc" and got 413,000 hits. I assume you either do not know, or choose not to post, the answer to my question. But thanks anyways for the help which you did provide. The question is, if I am not doing anything with those files, then why is kio accessing them?
