Can you verify for sure that your DNS is working properly? Is reverse DNS configured and working right? > Likewise, even ping'ing other machines on the LAN takes 5--10 > seconds before I see any response. When the replies do start coming > back, they are on the order of fractions of milliseconds. I'd also verify no issues with duplicate IPs or speed/duplex mismatches. A few strategic packet traces during problem scenarios should greatly assist you in debugging this. DS
