As a user that warning is pretty annoying as I can't do anything about it. I would welcome it if it would be gone. OTOH, if someones use case is that edge case and the rely on being warned about it, it would be a bad move to silence it on OpenBSD only. OTOOH, there is not much activity from Jason on the ML and most patches never get any reaction from him. So doing what e.g. Stuart did recommend and trying to get it upstream might not lead to anything. Given that it is a pretty theoretical edge case, an unrealistic one IMHO, I would still vote for removing the warning.
