ksh already has :set csh-history IMnsHO bringing that up to full csh-style functionality would be useful to me and maybe others
a) the switch and (a little) documentation already exist b) it would remove a lot of my frustration switching between bash(linux) and ksh(1) This is a suggestion only. I'll gladly test it anyone wants to play with it. I've got far too many partially-completed projects to add another. geoff steckel
