If there's an option in the configuration utility, try changing the "installed OS" option. I haven't used a Proliant 800 (or a PPro machine, for that matter) but I've had the best luck using "Unix large disk" or similar. You may need to download a newer version of the config utility, the SmartStart 5.5 CD should work on your machine (6.x and 7.x won't).
