On the installer, ask to create a custom layout, delete all partitions
except b (swap) and c (not really a partition), add a new partition
("a") than spans the entire disk (well, the "OpenBSD" section of it, see
fdisk for details) and assign it to mount point "/".
Before doing any of this, read the man page for disklabel, if you're not
familiar with it.
(I'm deliberately sidestepping the whole "single partition" thing, which
is a bad idea for a number of reasons.)
