This can resolve some problems with SSDs that have been heavily used, or have
badly written firmware that makes them slow down after moderate levels of
usage.
(*) Although by default the kernel will freeze lock SATA devices so you need
to take steps to bypass that in order to issue SECSETPASS and SECERASE.
