Hello, After many tried and attempts, I was not able to find a way to permanently disable openbsd keyboard "beep". Reading in different books about this:
adding keyboard.bell.volume=0 into /etc/wsconsctl.conf adding wsconsctl -f /dev/wskbd1 keyboard.bell.volume=0 into /etc/rc.local Nothing really works permanently. I do use an KVM to control multiple machines and it seems these settings are persistent only till I switch to another machine and when I come back, beep is also back again. As far i see, when the keyboard/mouse are reconnected (due to kvm switch), the beep is back. Any idea if it is possible to mute it once forever? Thank you.
