Seems your best bet would be to run an NX server on Linux as a proxy as suggested in https://x2go-user.x2go.narkive.com/NUuuZlc7/compile-and-run-x2go-server-in-openindiana-freebsd If you can use a different protocol, tigervnc is in packages (and was an absolute pain to get to build!).
