Downgrade 6.6 to 6.5

hi,

I've upgraded from 6.5 to 6.6 on my X1 6G and since then, I am unable
to find the reason(s) of the high fan spinning.
Is there a procedure to downgrade to 6.5 or should I just reinstall
from scratch?
