It deepends on whether someone does the work, the work is of sufficient quality, and doesn't cause too much bloat. Currently, i'm not aware of anybody planning to work on it. Console UTF-8 support is not the easiest task one could pick because it would require limited UTF-8 handling in the kernel, and whoever attempts that must be very careful to avoid bloat. I'll leave commenting on tmux(1) and wsfontload(8) to others as i don't use those programs and know little about them. Yours, Ingo
