You want a shell that you can trust, right? If you want an environment that is optimized for maximal attack surface and maximal potential impact of bugs, run Linux, or run shells/bash on OpenBSD. When the complete_command feature (see the manual page) was introduced to ksh(1), i already complained that it is bloat and featurism, and as such inviting bugs, yet too many developers wanted it.
