Following up on both the deploy script and my issues running OpenBSD with virtio drivers.
I still am not able to successfully install OpenBSD with the virtio drivers, but I was able to convert from fullvirt to paravirt after I had OpenBSD installed. I published my deploy script on Github: https://github.com/eatonphil/linode-deploy-experimental. You can now deploy OpenBSD, NetBSD, and FreeBSD on Linode using this script. Each image supports paravirtualization. Here is a forum post that goes into a little more detail: https://forum.linode.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=14653.
