Just as an irony, last week I was so pissed of about wireless performance between two points (OpenBSD not involved, LEDE and some dedicated ZTE) so that I setup wireless channel to auto. After that my download speed tripled. Looking at techie articles, they tell you to fix the channel on 1, 5, or 11. I was so intrigued over years about that, since the wireless tech is a jumping channel communication. Well, what do I know, just reading! I suspect WiFi is like other "standards", I will not dive in details. I admire Stefan for what he is doing for OpenBSD wireless. And the others are great, too.
