Hi Zack,

If the volume that you're attaching is not the one you're booting
from, then it won't appear on the instance at all because all
non-boot volumes are attached as paravirtualized disk interfaces
for which we lack driver support.  Right now we're limited to a
single volume but you may add additional BSD disk labels and/or
growfs existing filesystems.  I plan to add support for
paravirtualized disk interfaces, but don't have time to do it
right now.
