Philip,

You are right, sorry about the confusion. In more detail: The OpenBSD mailing
lists, which use (end of development, as stated in my link) Majordomo does not
provide for a 'vacation hold' feature (a useful feature), which most or all
current mailing list software provide.

On a separate, but connected note:
http://lists.openbsd.org/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr?user=&passw=&func=login

It's interesting to see that a sign-in form on such a security conscious
project as OpenBSD is unencrypted. Yeah, it's only a mailing list, no big deal,
but still, it would look better as a secure connection.

I understand you may not want a free SSL certificate from companies like
StartSSL (and I am sure many other certificate companies would give to such a
prestigious project like yours one for free)

There are also things like OpenSSL and DANE (DNS-based Authentication of Named
Entities).

Please note I am now here and not a crypt-expert. Actually, exactly that's why
I am here, to learn. Just want to know the general view here on things like
these, for example. Thanks
