I had a problem with seamonkey over several snapshots now; it won't

I can confirm this as well (on amd64), with an identical error message
from seamonkey (and persisting across a nuke-and-pave reinstall from a
fresh snapshot a few weeks or so ago, done for unrelated reasons).
