Sorry it isn't. If you have to move forwards from 5.6 then you'll need to pay attention to various notes in http://www.openbsd.org/faq/current.html, in particular the static PIE change. I think all the documentation we have about building says that you should update to a recent snapshot first. But of course snapshots have now moved beyond 5.7 so unless you have a slightly older snap, you're at least in "unsupported" territory.
