Hmm, I thought they wrote about consumer drives being more reliable
than enterprise drives somewhere, but can't find it now. It wouldn't
surprise me if that was the case, but I have no evidence. As it
wouldn't surprise me if they faired equally well or if enterprise stuff
was proven better than consumer grade disks.
At any rate .. just back up your (important) shit to different brand and
different vintage disks. The solid evidence I do have from personal
and professional experience is that ALL drives fail eventually.
