I'm trying to encrypt a file using openssl and a prompted password on OpenBSD.
Unfortunately there is no prompt and all I get is a 'bad password read':
$ openssl version
LibreSSL 2.0
$ openssl des3 -in file
bad password read
Attempting the same on a different *non OpenBSD* system and a plain-vanilla
openssl install:
$ openssl versio
OpenSSL 1.0.1i 6 Aug 2014
$ openssl des3 -in file
enter des-ede3-cbc encryption password:

Is this expected behaviour of LibreSSL?
