Does anyone use these LSI MPT2 cards? The LSI MPT and MPT2 cards disable the write cache on the drives.
With MPT, you can run "lsiutil" under a linux usb flash and enable the disk write cache with some minor hassle. Once the setting is flashed to the card, it works nicely. With MPT2, there is no "lsiutil" and the "sas2ircu" program doesn't give you any of the flexibility of lsiutil.
