I've got RTL8188CU and AR9271 wifi usb dongles, Lenovo Thinkpad x220i, OpenBSD amd64 5.4, latest firmware. With 2Mb/s download both cause high CPU interrupt load (~50%). systat shows 1700 ehci interrupts. dd form usb flash to /dev/null (same 2 Mb/s) cause same interrupts count but doesn't load CPU. netstat -m shows 650 mbufs in use. Also during download ping goes from 8 to 200 ms. Can anybody test the same wifi adapters (better with something like thinkpad x220i) under 2Mb/s and send me interrupts count (usb, ipi), interrupts load, netstat -m, ping delay with and without load, interrupts statistic for usb dd? I want to add this information to bug report.
