I also had problems with bsd.rd (the RAM disk installer), but try with the CD installer. The networking works with the normal kernel. We have some other notes on Hyper-V http://sr.wiki.halon.se/wiki/Supported_hardware#Microsoft_Hyper-V that you might find interesting.
