Thanks, I guessed it's an ACPI problem and not an OpenBSD one. But I thought one can tell OpenBSD to ignore that useless values. Telling HP that they implemented ACPI the wrong way is IMHO useless. They just don't care. And the notebook is about 6.5 years old. Sven
