If you're willing to briefly explain (either on or off list) to me how I
can test parallel building of perl (without having to restart the whole
build process from /usr/src), I can try to figure out what the problem
is later on today / when I get back Monday from visiting family. Is it a
matter of
cd /usr/src/gnu/usr.bin && make -jN perl
and seeing if things work out?
