When my system comes up with no logged-on users but with syslogd, pflogd, ntpd, sshd, sendmail, inetd, and sndiod running, top shows 24M of real memory consumption. When I start emacs server (emacs --daemon) storage consumption increases to 59M, more than 2x what is required by OpenBSD itself and several daemons.
