there's no usbdevs data for Kyocera product 0x0015. so not getting a product name isn't terribly surprising. the device could provide this but it isn't required. however, if the product name does get printed for a while then the name is no longer printed ... there's a problem somewhere. as far as usb devices stopping to work, when this happens, could you please send me the output of 'top -S -n 200 | grep usb'? and could you provide examples of what 'USB devices seemingly randomly stop working' means too? thanks. -- [email protected] SDF Public Access UNIX System - http://sdf.lonestar.org
