Just had a quick question on the patch for CVS. After I applied the patch to CVS I checked the version on a server with the patch and one with out the patch. In both cases, the versions were the same (1.11.1p1).
When I checked the hash values of the file (/usr/bin/cvs) the two binaries did not match. My question is whether this is normal for the patches? I have never checked in the past. Thanks, Michael Calvi
