Hello,
I have a Ralink based card:
ral0 at cardbus1 dev 0 function 0 "ASUSTeK Computer , Inc., RT2500,
802.11 CardBus Reference Card": irq 11, address 00:11:d8:38:43:42
ral0: MAC/BBP RT2560 (rev 0x04), RF RT2525
I was able to install 3.7 using wireless without any problems, although
running it after that was quite bumpy experience (panic's because of ral).
It seems, there were some fixes to ral(4), so I installed latest snapshot.
What's strange, that I managed to install it through wireless too ;),
but now I'm unable to connect to my access point ;(
# uname -a
OpenBSD sraige.devnull.tl 3.7 GENERIC#175 i386
# ifconfig -M ral0
ral0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
lladdr 00:11:d8:38:43:42
media: IEEE802.11 autoselect (DS1)
status: no network
ieee80211: nwid zebras 100dBm
nwid 0x00 chan 6 bssid 00:04:e2:ab:80:64 66dB 54M
short_preamble
inet6 fe80::211:d8ff:fe38:4342%ral0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x6
actually, I see that it's scanning for access points trying many
media/mode combinations, but with no luck. Access point is forced to
11b (11g capable), channel 6. I tried with ssid broadcasting and
without it, with nwid and without it (with broadcast enabled), and
so on...
AP has MAC filtering disabled. AP is SMC2804WBR v2.
Any ideas or suggestions?
TIA
Paulius
