actually, quite some of the USB data cables for mobile phones are just 
their plain old serial cables with builtin usb->cereal converters, and 
we support most of 'em (my SonyEricsson stuff works at least), giving 
you a ttyU0 where the well known AT commands work. shouldn't eat much 
power either...
