wcstof is only implemented in stdlib.h if you have __USE_MINGW_ANSI_STDIO defined while building, and this shouldn't be defined globally when you're building mingw-w64. I don't see this error when I'm building things.
Do you have something in your environment that injects this define into the build process somehow?
