A little off-topic, but is there some official policy on how far back a
platform should be supported? Both as a host and as a target? XP will be
officially unsupported in a month. It is 13 years old. Is it really a
problem if newer mingw64 official builds don't support it? If someone
really needs it for some reason, they can always take an older version, or
compile themselves without the threading support.
I am asking this as a general question, not only as a bid for native win32
c++11 threading support.
