Hi, I need to build Python 2.7 for 64-bit Windows but I'm having a hard time compiling it. 'configure' generates a Makefile unsuitable for Windows (maybe Cygwin?). I patched the Makefile and several other files, still new problems arise...
However, there is a Python DLL shipped with Ruben's toolchain so maybe you know a recipe or maybe you've got some patches? What I need is the Python EXE, too and working distutils so I can compile and use NumPy/SciPy and other libraries.
