Hmm, as you mentioned that with some older revision of mingw-w64, you don't have this issue, but with newer you have, I would assume that it is at least related to recent changes on mingw-w64's side. Nevertheless there is still the question what revision causes it for you? As the revision you've initially shown can't be the cause, as that change affects cygwin-host usage only.
