I kinda assumed (perhaps wrongly) that that would need new APIs and hence more
effort.
And then during submit, UI/backend will need additional logic to ensure that
only the updated flags are submitted as changes. Else unnecessary updates to DB
and unwanted audit trail entries.
Does the current APIs deal with only one configuration parameter at a time?

This is the same as what is there today. But perhaps will convey meaning more
clearly? I guess it is the true/false label and the flag icon that causes the
confusion.

I agree with Srini, this screen needs better UX, when first time you
see, you can't identify which is enabled and which is disabled?
