Hi Dragan,
When you load an ogg file in mwhave, it is first uncompressed to a
temporary wav file. With your large ogg it could become really large,
maybe 800 MB or so. The reason for the low performance could maybe be
that your disk is almost full so the temporary file gets fragmented.
The default is to put temporary files under your home directory in the
.mhwaveedit subdirectory. If you have a better place to put them which
you think is faster (another partition or a ram drive or something), you
can change this in the Files tab under preferences.

i tried mhwave with alsa and jack output, both with same results.
it would be good to hear what magnus or someone else thinks about this
issue. is it because of the nature of a pretty long ogg file or it is
a bug?
