Anyway, I *just* fixed AIX 5.3 support last week. Use git master, git mesa_7_6_branch, or just wait for the 7.6.1 release. I'd love to hear how it works for you; we're only using OSMesa, so I think a generic libGL doesn't see much testing on AIX.
